What was the 1964 SS white interior?

Hi Everyone,

I am thinking about changing my interior over to white (I currently have black with a black ragtop). I am looking for big impact on the "wow this is nice scale" (my interior is pretty good, just a little tiered). I had a few questions for those in the know;

- What pieces were white? Seats and side panels are obvious, but how about the dash? Was it the entire dash or was half black? What about the steering wheel (I have seens a cool black and white one probablt impossible to find)? 4 Speed console? Carpet?

- If you were going to do this, would you get a complete kit from a place like Late Great Chevy or take it to a local shop?

The top will have to stay black for a while until $$ allows....

THANKS!

Rob

I would give Ciadella a call, they probably sell the stuff too.

They do look good for seats and panels. I guess the main question really is did white interior cars have a white dash top and black bottom from the factory? Was the steering wheel black and white and where would you find one of those?

Two different 64 combos.

Either white with red compliments (Dash, kicks, rugs, bottoms on doors and side panels, etc.), or white with aqua compliments.

No white and black from the factory in 64.

THANKS Donny - I sort of thought that looks like a pair of Wingback shoes from the 50's

But I have seen several black and white steering wheels.. maybe those are customs?
