Exclamation COWL decoding help (1964 impala)

I got the cowl info, but I cannot find a good decoder. Any ideas?
I know the original color is Ember Red, but that's all. (what does the F after 922 mean though?)

Chevorlet Div. General Motors Corp

08E Detriot, Michigan

STYLE E64-1467 BODY EP 113
TRIM 879-1 PAINT 922 F
ACC. W 2MS 3C

Looks like a 64 Impala SS Convert red on red, body built at Euclid Ohio plant. www.348-409.com has a decoder if you want the rest. The F is probably the color for the top.

Everything is correct. In 64 and 65, Euclid built convertible and wagon bodies which were then shipped to Flint for final assembly. What is your vin? 879 is a red bucket seat interior and the 1 after that is for a white top. The F after the 922 is short for Flint I believe. Your options show Tinted Windshield, Powerglide, rear antenna and padded dash. And the 08E shows the body was built the 5th week of August in 1963. Early car.

What I am really curious about is the numbers after body. Somewhere I read that it had to do with the serial number. Is this correct?

Like Warren said yours is an early car so the EP 113 is the 113th impala (convertible?) built at the Euclid plant. This does not have anything to do with the VIN number, it is a body sequence number from Fischer. The VIN was assigned at the Chevrolet assembly plant and is not based on the body sequence number.

It would be interesting to see how low your vin is. I have seen another 64 SS conv Euclid body also built 08E and the body is only EP 38. The vin is 102437 so you can see how few impala SS conv's there were assembling at Flint compared to other body styles.
