Help decoding the Body Tag on my '64 SS Impala

I am starting to restore a 1964 Impala Super Sport with a 409/340HP engine. It also has a 4 speed manual. I was able to decode the VIN using Hagerty Insurance's decoding assistant. I have not found a reference manual for decoding the Body Tag. Any help is appreciated. Also, I'm told there is a code on the frame by the "X" member. This will be a body off frame project so I'll have total access to the frame. Is the frame code true and, if so, what does it reference?
Body Tag numbers

Style: 64 1447
Trim: 815
ACC: E2LR5V
Body: SL01140
Paint: 936
Top of tag also has 09D in front of the word Detroit
Appreciate tapping into your knowledge

Send a message via AIM to TAR6569
From the data you posted, you have a 64 Impala SS coupe build at St Louis MO 4th week of September 1963 (09D), Ermine White (936), black bucket seat interior (815), with tinted glass, 4spd trans, rear seat speaker and seat belts.

What's the vin? Is there a handstamped number on the tag? Does the car have the original 409?

Warren

Thank you for the decoding help

Thank you big Dave, Warren and Paul. You've helped emensly with the body tag decoding. All the information dictated by the numbers matches. Warren here is the VIN # of my 64 since you asked: 41447S112877, The engine number is S112877 T09I7QC. I decode the engine number to be:
T = Tonawanda
09 = September
I7 = 17th day
QC = 340HP and 4bbl Rochester with a manual transmission

The engine block does have an "X" on the front of the block, Driver's side and the oil dipstick is on the Passenger's side. So I'm concluding that this is the original 409 in this Impala. I also have the original purchase agreement, trade in paperwork, and written request for a loan on this car. You guys have helped me further confirm that this white baby is the real deal. I'm looking forward to asking, reading and hopefully answering inquiries on the many forum subjects here at Impala Tech. Regards, Jim V.

Guys, I got to thinking about the old "model years" we grew up with. Remember when October was the new car showing month? Well it got me to wondering about my '64 Impala and it's September, 4th week build date. My question: If my Impala's engine and body were built in September I'm thinking the body and engine were manufactured/assembled in September of 1963 as an early 1964 model? So, do I reference September of 1963 for the engine and body build dates? Hmmmm? Warren your message mentions the September 1963 dates. Looks right to me.

Jim,

Based on your VIN, the car probably rolled off the line on Sat. Sept. 28th 1963.
