help with tag numbers 64 ss

hi can anyone tell me what my tag codes mean?
cowl tag:
02C Body BC
Style 64-1447 B (i think?)154
Trim 062
ACC B70 Paint RR

door tag:
41447 U124498 - the door tag has two different styles of letter stamping as though its been restamped - or a complete new tag - is this common?

number of front of engine:
10C170627 V0402CNR

the car currently is a custom green paint with black vinyl interior, ss badging, floor shift powerglide etc.
thanks

There were no full size '64 Chevys built at Baltimore. The car was built at Southgate, CA.

The vin tag is original. The reason for the different characters is because at the BOP plants the serial number was stamped first and once they had a specific body ready to go, a serial # was assigned and the body style number (41447 in your case) was stamped in. Looks like the engine is from a 1970 B body also built at the South Gate plant.

thanks, yea i understood it being southgate car. the car has air con controls / vents although not connected up. does any of that relate to the codes? also what color was the car and interior? from the engine number is it possible to know what horsepower it would be?

The C stands for the South Gate CA plant, the same plant your 64 was built at. In 1965 the South Gate plant designation on the vin tag was changed from U to C, and it stayed at C into the 1970s.
