Decode

Build date: 03B second week of March 1966
66 - 1966
15669 - 1966 Belair 4 dr sedan
Trim code 850 - Turquoise cloth and vinyl
BA - Assembly plant Doraville GA
15056 - Body sequence number
KK - Artesian Turquoise
The small drilled hole on the bottom of the plate means the car was equipped with shoulder harness brackets in the roof panels.

Engine decode:
T - Tonawanda plant
0303 - Built March 3, 1966
GF - 283 195HP Powerglide 2 BBL carb used in full size cars.

I'm sure Warren will jump in on the POP.

Paul

What's the dealer info on the page opposite the protectoplate?

POP decode:

T is turquoise interior
KK is artesian turquoise paint
VIN
B is bay city carb
T0303GF paul decoded for you
DB0223B is a 3:36 10 bolt rear axle assembled at Buffalo NY on 2/23/66
M is March assembly month
T0223D is a powerglide transmission assembled at Toledo OH on 2/23/66
options are 1 for power steering, 3 for a.m. pushbutton radio and a 1 for air conditioning

Have you checked under the back seat for a build sheet?

Warren

Thanks. Can you send some close ups of the build sheet so that I can read the codes in the boxes?

Blurry

Yes, Russell, closeups would be much appreciated, the dealer invoice and WS look good, build sheet too hard to read.

Thanks!!,
Paul

Thanks! Can you also show one of the bottom left with the dealer info and codes? What is the code in box 71? Last digit got cut off on the photocopy. And what is the six number below the last six of the serial number on the sheet?
