need help decoding 66 Impala

we are restoring a 1966 Impala SS need help decoding the Cowl Tag

Chevrolet DD
VIN# 168376F194455

Cowl Tag
04A = built first week in April

ST 66-16837 FL2 3201 Body
TR 837-B C-C Paint
2MR
4F-5Y-199-697

Body by Fisher

the best we can tell is we have a 66 SS, 2dr coupe w/ 8 cylinder, Ermine White paint top and bottom, Trim had Vinyl Cloth and Leather? 5Y =deluxe belts. Any and all help would be appreciated.

I can not find any additional info on the trim tag.

The 199697 was a 'goal' VIN usually used on AC cars. This car was to be completed before that VIN number. The VIN of this car is 194455. It was rare for a car to be completed before the 'goal' VIN. Most AC cars were side lined for repairs on the AC unit because they all leaked. Check out this article - http://www.msa-1.com/custom/index.cfm?ID=38596
