1962 Price book

Does anyone out there have a 1962 Chevrolet Price and Facts book? I need a price on an item and would appreciate some help.

Thanks,

Paul

I assume you are not talking about a Kelly Blue book? I have a Chilton's Flat Rate and Parts Price Guide, but it only goes back to cover the years 1990 to 1979.

You want one from the 1960's if they even published one back then as most people where more honest in their business dealings back then. A parts price guide might not have had a market. I didn't buy my first book until discount part houses appeared on the scene.

I didn't need a flat labor guide as I didn't do any work that was covered under the guide except R&R trannies and motors, but that didn't even apply then because I was building not rods.

Price book

It is basically a handy salesman's guide to pricing, no parts just retail pricing for the cars themselves and options. Also gives some info as to what options were included with others and what could be sold with what. Usually 3 publications or editions for each year's car release.
