G- gold interior trim. R-rochester carb. T-tonawanda engine. The option codes are 331. Power steering/power brakes. Clock. Radio. DB a 356 open rear, non metallic brakes. The N stands for the night shift building the powerglide transmission. Not sure if it is an original SS.

Brandon,
The "16887" model number confirms 1967 Impala Super Sport with V8 engine

Remember 1964 through 1967 Impala Super Sports had thier own unique model number.

I stand corrected. The 168 is an impala super sport V-8. The 87 is a fast back coupe. What indicates Bucket seats with console? 60's 1st class tech.

The 67 Super Sport came with buckets and console OR Strato bench seat with no console. You need to look at the trim code to tell which one it came with.
