'66 Impala build sheet request

Does anyone have a scanned image of a good '66 Impala build sheet that they can either post or e-mail me? I'd like to see just what one for mine should look like.

Thanks,
vance

He's lucky. That's an original sheet that used to have carbon paper against it. The build sheets usually found in cars are (photo)copies of the originals like this one. The (photo)copies were made at the plant.

Well you have to keep in mine that these sheets were hand typed (which accounts for many errors in reporting the "correct" code as they changed between plants and there are typos) because they were made before computers became popular (the desktop computer didn't appear until 1975, and they were crude with no high speed printer for the first few years). Big main frames were in use at the time to keep the books, but the plant was managed by the steno pool and secretaries shuffling orders on paper which is why you can not go back and get a "copy" of the original (it ended up in the waste paper basket).

yeah, a lot of the original sheets were left in the cars on the floors or on top of the seats upon leaving the plant. when the cars got to the dealer, some of those sheets were placed in the glove box with the owners manual thus existing to this date
