Welcome to the Team John!

So long as you have a title no that isn't a problem. Just make up an acceptable assembly plant code letter to find out what your VIN decodes to. Impalas were made in Janesville (J) and Norwood (N) OH, New York at Tarrytown (T), Atlanta (A), Oakland (O), Kansas City(K) and St. Louis (S) MO, Baltimore (B), Farmington (F) MA.

Look at it again. IT might be an "L" for Los Angeles. Also check your title and see what it says.
BTW, the Framingham plant uses a "G". F would be Flint.

1 is the Oshawa, ON code, but I don't know if they made '62's up there ?

You could call George Zappora at GM Vintage Vehicle Services and see if it comes up as a valid Canadian built car.

Trim tag

John,
Can you post a pic of your trim tag or supply the information in the correct format? This way we'll know the plant and also if it was built in Canada.
