Sure seems like there has been lots of questions about 67's lately. I though they were kind of the black sheep. Nice to see others enjoying them.

Brent.
Here is what I know from your tag.
09C = Assembled 3rd week of September (1966)
67-16467 = 1967 2 door Impala Convertible ( non-SS) (a SS would be 16867) Re-check this number.
JAN = Janesville Wisconsin assembly plant, sequence 117 (early built car)
813 is Black Strato Bucket interior
G-2 is Gold exteror paint with a Black top

I dont know all the option codes but here is my best estimate

Tinted Windshield (only)
Powerglide transmission
Remote mirror (maybe)
Deluxe seat belts (brushed aluminum buckles with carriage insert)

Something is not consistent since 813 (bucket seats) was only available on the SS but your Body style shows a standard Impala Convert

What numbers are on your VIN plate on the drivers door post?

Post a picture of your trim tag, and some pictures of your car!

Buckets were available in any car not just an SS. The buckets where usually cloth covered, but you could have vinyl covered bucket seats with the deluxe grade interior.

Dave, can you show some literature that says you could get the buckets in any car? As far as I know, you could get bucket seats in the SS (standard), caprice (option) and biscayne (special order for police cars).

I too would like to see a picture of that cowl tag. 813 is black bucket seat interior the S after it to designate bucket seats with headrests. B is plain buckets and A is plain bench seat. There are others for plain bench with headrests and strato-bench too.

Possibly you misread it and it does say 16867 or it is a mistake and does say 16467 because I have 67-16467 JAN car in my list with an 09C build date and the body number is 208, which is almost 100 higher. The SS body number would be lower and 117 seems to fit in for an SS vert body. Seeing a picture of the vin tag would also be helpful.

And 4F is remote mirror.

Good to hear that is was just misread, thats what I was hoping. The Buckets with headreast (in 67) are fairly uncommon so that is a nice option.

Yes. Glad to see the headrests are there! 5,045 fullsize chevies built with the headrests for the strato-type seat for the 67 model year.
