I don't have my trim tag book today but if your engine is the original it should have the partial VIN stamped on the front engine pad. Look on the small pad right below the front side of the passenger side head. There should be two sets of digits one is the partial VIN and the other is the engine assembly stamping. If it is the original engine the VIN should match your cars sequence number and the engine suffix (last few digits of the engine assy stamp) will provide information on the transmission type.
Post the numbers stamped on your engine and we can help
the only numbers i could find on the block are 3914660 and on the front 660 and under that 638. not sure if im looking at the right spot. the motor is stripped down to the block and im kinda an idiot lol thanka
Good news is that the 859 is parchment bucket seat interior, which confirms it is an SS. P2 is Seafrost green with a black top. 03C is body built 3rd week of March. BC shows the car was assembled at the Southgate, CA plant.
