59 belair with an odd vin

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum.

I have been searching and found no information regarding this vin, its from a 59 bel air 4dr sedan in the Philippines the VIN is CAP59MNL15210 , I think MNL means manila which is the capital of the Philippines , could you help me shed some light on the history behind this VIN?
I also know of a 55 belair with a similar VIN in the Philippines , otherwise I have never seen any other than the two
I hope someone can help me decode this vin,
I attached a picture so you guys can get a better view
Thanks so much and more power to this forum

Welcome to the Team Kenneth!

I don't think they were made in the US at all. I believe you will find that it was made by Holden for Chevrolet in Australia and shipped to the Philippines. None of the books we have show it which is why you are having such a hard time finding anything on it here.

Hi Dave, I've look into that possibility, but its an original left hand drive car. Australia only make right hand drive. I've emailed a GM historian and he has never encountered this kind of VIN as of yet. he will make more research and get back to me, have anyone else here in the forum has seen this kind of Vin? Thanks
