Muncie Partial VIN

Does anyone know what year car this trans came from? The partial VIN is S208975. I know that it isn't from a Vette or Chevelle, the build sequence number is not from those lines.

It's from a St. Louis passenger car. Post the casting date and assembly date from the main case and that should tell the story.

64 Impala Dude, Sorr, I didn't get a chance to go to the Midwest Camaro Fest this year but I have attended in the past. The wife and I did go to the Good Guys Show at Kansas Speedway over the Labor Day weekend. We really wanted to go to the Nostalgia Drags at KCIR this weekend but we have a family commitment. As for the trans, the casting numbers are:

Main Case: 3851325
Tail Housing: 3846429
Partial VIN: S208975 (Stamped on the main case rear flange.) .
Application Code: P0211 (Stamped on the main case on the side cover boss.)
