Welcome to the Team Eilu!

Neither the VIN nor the TRIM tag will tell you what engine you have. That information is on the engine itself. It has a little shelf cast into the front of the block on the passenger side. Clean it off with a wire brush and an aerosol can of brake cleaner and you will be able to read a bunch of numbers with some letters. The letters tell you what you have and what it came out of and the numbers tell you when it was built and what car VIN it belongs to.
