We just started a 67 Impala that sat inside a garage for 25 years. First off change the oil. Get rid of any old fuel in the tank. Engines need fuel, spark and compression to run. You will have to check if you have all of them. We had to replace the fuel pump and carb to get fuel into the engine. We replaced the distributor with a HEI unit along with new plugs and wires to get spark. Run a compression test while the plugs are out. If all are good, It should run. Thats the short version.

That's interesting you already got all the drivetrain codes. Do you have the original protectoplate?

yes i found it on the glove compartment, i have verified the engine but not the tranny and axle. talked to the previous owner and he told me that has a two speed powerglide. Im trying to star it but im having some electrical problems, replaced cap, rotor, plugs and will replace points tomorrow and try again, wish me luck, im desperate to hear that engine running.

Thanks! So from the cowl tag and pop, I can tell your car has these options:
Tinted Glass
Deluxe seat belts
Power brakes
Power steering
Powerglide trans
pushbutton AM radio
rear seat speaker
rear antenna
black vinyl interior

Was there any other original paperwork in the glove box? it was Yellow originally, a nice color.
