Horn assembly removal

I have a 66 Impala ss and I need to remove the steering wheel to access the turn signal switch. How does the horn ring and center "cap" come off? My friend thinks the center cap just turns to remove--I'm not sure and trust the team impala group for the correct answer!

Garage
Just grab it and pull it straight off, no tools needed. Spring clips holding it in place.
