New (for me) steering column installed

Finally replaced my steering column after many years. The previous owner had cut the column in order to remove the shifter handle. The turn signal final gave out as well recently (internal plastics broke). Pictures were taken over 5 years apart, so other changes/additions were made. I ended up picking up a non-tilt, floor shift column that had been rebuilt off ebay in one auction, then the collars in another auction. The collars ended up running more than the column! My old column shift lower collar was the same as the floor shift, non-tilt. My original upper collar still had the gear selector lense and indicator. I finally found a Sherwin-Williams that would digitally match the paint on the original column and sell me a can of spray paint for it, but I had to buy a gallon of paint first.

The swap process went real smooth with the exception that I have to re-tap and re-thread what's used to actually hold/support the steering wheel up with that strap under the dash. I also replaced the sheet metal screws holding the mount plate to the firewall. Having the gear selector blanked out was a want, like the shifter, but the turn signal was a need. Now I'm thinking about replacing the plugged/capped off power steering gear box with a manual one since this swap went pretty smooth. Thanks everyone that posts on this forum!
