Saginaw Power Steering Box Question.

On a 1967 Impala with power steering,on the gearbox,which of the two holes accept the pressure/return lines.

Power Steering.

I just looked at my assembly manual,the pressure hose mounts in the inboard hole,I do believe,Bill.

I remember it this way. The low pressure return line is always next to the gear input shaft. (We really don't want high pressure oil pressing on the input shaft seal and causing drag on the steering shaft.) The high pressure line is next to the aluminum top cover.
