95 impala ss streeing

streeing wheel seems to be loose when I turn left and right what could be the problem and how do I fix

Most likely culprits, in order:
1. Idler arm
2. Center link
3. Outer tie rods
4. Inner tie rods
5. Rag joint
6. Worn steering box

I'll put my cash on #1 and 2.

Tilt columns also loosen up inside.

Snook, get the front end components checked first. #1-4 on my list.

I bought a new SS in 95 and drove it 10 years, sold it, then got a new black 300c hemi.
