66 impala blower resister

66 impala blower was bad. Dropped the inner fender and replaced it with a new one. Apparently the resister is also bad, only works on HIGH. Question is can i get at the resister from under the dash or by removing the glove box, where exactly is it ?

If this car is air conditioned, then the likely culprit is the relay not the resistor. Both are located on top of the evaporator housing under the hood.

blower resister

No a/c on this 66. I am led to think it is somewhere that air flow will help keep it cooler at low blower speed setting.

That is where the solution to these symptoms are found on later model cars.
