Dynomax Mufflers for my 64

So I'm looking at installing a pair of Dynomax 17749 mufflers in my 64.
Has anyone had experience with putting these in and do they fit?
Currently I have some old 15.5inch long very loud mufflers (rusted out) and looking for something a bit quieter that will fit.
The current placement is under the floor pans.
I checked out some old threads which mentioned them but that was in 2012!

Thanks in advance.

Check out Walker exhaust. They sell mufflers that are stock replacements in terms of sound but flow a little better. They are sold on Summit.

Dynomax mufflers just look like real mufflers. They are glass packs in disguise.

Anyone actually installed either Walker of Dynomax?
They are the two I'm most interested in but curious about fitment.

Thanks

Walker was the OEM for mufflers and exhaust pipes. They have a catalog (usually found at a muffler shop) that list parts (such as factory spec mufflers) and pipes (usually a size or two too small) for every GM car made. You can choose a dual exhaust and size the mufflers to fit your application and to have pipe bent up for a factory replacement.

Keep in mind a 283 muffler is too small for a 383 and a high reving big block will want even more capacity than a similar sized SBC (such as comparing a 402 BBC with a 400 SBC), because the BBC exhaust ports are so bad.

If your muffler shop doesn't have case you want in stock it can be ordered as they are all still being made by Walker.

I put a Walker exhaust system on my 64 about 3 years ago and I have been happy with it. There are 3 pieces and they all fit together perfectly. Here is a video I posted.

I actually watched this video in my research!
Nice car by the way.

The problem I have is the current set up I have (headers from my 350) is made up for a center inlet/offset outlet and all the ones that I want are both offset. Trying not to replace everything but maybe I have to?

Anyone in the New York city area know or recommend an exhaust specialist company?

Thanks
